[Finally the Copeland song. Even though the theme of the album is well known, is really hard to find information about the songs. The only thing that the band is sure to state is about how personal and honest album is.]

“Priceless*
[Copeland – Beneath Medicine Tree*]

I remember when I’d run to you*
Through fields of white flowers
Your embrace was my air
How I needed you there
All of the world and all of its powers
Couldn’t keep your love from me

‘Cause I need you like the dragonfly’s wings need the wind
Like the orphan needs home once again
Like heaven needs more to come in
I need you here like you’ve always been

Then I waved goodbye to you*
From fields of white flowers
You were so proud of me
I was too proud to see
That all of the world and all of it’s powers
Couldn’t keep your love from me…

I need you like the dragonfly’s wings need the wind
Like the orphan needs home once again
Like heaven needs more to come in
I need you here like you’ve always been

Taking for granted all of her smiles that got away

Now I’m looking up at you
From fields of white flowers
You were so proud of me
I’m so proud of you
All of the world and all of its powers
Couldn’t keep your love from me

* In same releases the name of this song appears as Priceless (for Eleanor).

* This Copeland album has a hospital theme. The theme came from the moment that lead singer – and major writer – Aaron was going thought, the songs were written during 3 years before the album were record, and during this period Aaron had to deal with a sick girlfriend (that later became his wife) and the death of his grandmother. The theme can be seen even by the album cover: http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/3183DN2YVVL._AA240_.jpg

* This part is about the childrenhood with this grama: Eleanor

* Originally Aaron wrote the song to sing it in his grama funeral, but later it became part of the album.
